Playing Jazz Standards and Pop Classics that swing!

 

 

Taking inspiration from the jazz trio formats of Wes Montgomery & Joel Patterson, the Pop Jazz Trio is guitar led with a rhythm section of drums and bass.  Using minimal equipment, no PA and with a very small footprint, we play a range of jazz standards and jazz versions of classic pop hits (by the like of The Beatles, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Oasis, Amy Winehouse, Queen, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Van Morrison, Bill Withers, Michael Buble etc)

 

The small set up format, using only small amplifiers and a minimal drum set, is perfect for small spaces, reception drinks, corporate events, weddings, garden parties etc … The minimal set up can easily adapt to low volume situations and also allows us to move easily between sets to perform in different areas within your event - our only requirement is a small floor space and a reachable plug socket!

 

Industry professionals for over 20 years, the band members have all played together in various projects all over the world; from backing pop artists on tour in South Africa and Dubai to playing at many of the UK’s major festivals, uk touring, album sessions and live radio broadcasts alongside playing together at countless functions all over the UK.
